"Fatihah"

In my recent search for waterlilies I finally came upon this beautiful example. Just the innermost part is closed, but everything else wide open to the sun, and what a lot of sun there's been!!
I love waterlilies, there are so many varieties and colors. Usually they're plentiful and easy to find, but yet again another thing that has been a casualty of the drought. Some ponds that usually have lily pads and flowers have actually dried up completely.
I think our weather is taking a turn for the better now, at least I'm hoping! We finally got some real rain, and the temperatures are down a bit.
I have some hope that the fall foliage may be able to be saved!!
I'm hoping that for all of you in drought ridden areas, you receive some wonderful rainfall and recovery!!
